On Android

Step 1: Open the Gmail app > tap your profile picture at the top right corner > select Manage accounts on this device.

Step 2: Select your Google account from the list > tap on Remove account > select Remove account again to confirm.

On iPhone

Step 1: Open the Gmail app > tap on your profile icon at the top right corner > select Manage accounts on this device.

Step 2: Select Remove from this device for your account > select Remove to confirm.

Add your account to the Gmail app again and see if the error persists.

Fix 4: Clear App Cache (Android)

Clearing the cache effectively fixes issues caused by corrupt or outdated temporary app files. So, if Gmail still shows the “No connection” error, try clearing its cache data using these steps:

Step 1: Long press the Gmail app and tap the info icon from the resulting menu.
