How to Remove WhatsApp Emoji Reaction
Let’s say you have reacted to a message on WhatsApp using an emoji. But now you realize that you don’t want to remove that reaction from the message. There might be occasions when you don’t want to convey your thoughts using an emoji but instead reply to the message. In that case, you can easily remove that WhatsApp emoji reaction from the message.
Once you have updated WhatsApp on your phone, here are two ways of removing WhatsApp emoji reactions from a message. The steps remain the same for mobile and desktop.
Open Whatsapp > open the message > long-press the message to reveal more options > tap again on your emoji reaction to remove it.
Alternatively, here’s how to remove an emoji reaction from a WhatsApp message.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your Android or iPhone.
Step 2: Open the message from which you want to remove the emoji reaction.
Step 3: Tap on the emoji reaction attached to that WhatsApp message. Now, select Tap to Remove from the popup menu.
You will notice that your emoji reaction has been removed from that WhatsApp message.
