How to Clear All WhatsApp Call History
If you wish to permanently find and delete all WhatsApp call history and start as a clean slate, WhatsApp lets you do so effortlessly. Here are the simple steps to follow.
Note: Restoring call history on WhatsApp is a cumbersome process. Hence, proceed with caution.
On Android
Step 1: Go to the Calls tab on WhatsApp, tap on the three-dots icon, and select Clear call log.
Step 2: Confirm your action to clear your entire call history.

On iOS
Step 1: Launch WhatsApp on your iPhone and go to the Calls tab.
Step 2: Tap Edit at the top left corner. Now, tap Clear near the top right section.
Step 3: Select Clear Call History. That’s it, and the whole call history inside WhatsApp will get cleared.
How to Delete a Few Items From WhatsApp Call History
Instead of deleting the entire call history, you can delete a few items from your WhatsApp call history.
On Android
Step 1: Open WhatsApp and go to Calls.
Step 2: Tap and hold to select the call you want to delete.
Step 3: Tap the delete icon near the top right corner of the screen to delete the selected item.
Step 4: You can further delete items inside a call. Tap the call to open it on the full page.
Step 5: Tap and hold on to the item to select that you wish to remove.
Step 6: Tap the delete icon to delete the selected item.
On iOS
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your iPhone and navigate to the Calls tab. Tap on Edit.
Step 2: Tap the red remove (minus) button next to the contact you want to remove.
Step 3: Tap Delete > Done.
Remove WhatsApp Calls Showing in the Phone Log on the iPhone
WhatsApp calls on iPhones tend to leave logs in the Phone app, which can be an additional hassle when removing WhatsApp call history from your device. Unfortunately, you can’t disable WhatsApp call history on iPhone; however, you can remove WhatsApp calls showing in the phone log easily.
Step 1: Launch the Phone app on your iPhone and go to the Recents tab.
Step 2: Tap Edit at the top. Now tap the red remove (minus) button next to the WhatsApp call.
Step 3: Tap on Delete. Hit Done, and that’s it.
