How to View Lyrics on Spotify Mobile, Desktop and TV

• On the desktop app, tap the tiny Mic icon in the Now Playing bar at the bottom to open the lyrics.
• On the mobile apps, tap Now Playing and swipe up from the bottom to bring up the Lyrics cards.
• Not all songs on Spotify display lyrics. So, use services like Genius and Lyrics or search for the lyrics on Google.

How to See Lyrics in Spotify for Desktop or Web Players

If lyrics are available for that particular song, you’ll notice a tiny Mic icon in the Now Playing bar at the bottom.

You can start viewing the lyrics at the top of the display, but the feature is limited here.

Unlike the mobile version, you can’t opt to see the full lyrics. You must wait for them to appear with the song. You can’t even scroll up and down while the song plays. Another thing you can’t do with the desktop client or web player is share lyrics via social media apps.

How to Get Lyrics on Spotify App for Mobile: iPhone and Android

Find a song you’d like to view lyrics for and tap on the Now Playing bar at the bottom to bring up the song page. On the song page, swipe up from the bottom to bring up the Lyrics cards.

Some songs highlight the words in real time (in white) as the song plays. To view the song’s lyrics fully, tap the card to expand it. Scroll up and down to read the lyrics.

You can also tap on the Share button at the bottom-right corner to share it with friends on other apps.

If you want to share a specific line, tap on a line to start the selection. Select as many lines as you wish. After that, press the Share button at the bottom-right corner.

How to See Lyrics on Spotify on Smart TV

On the Spotify TV app, open the playback screen and select the lyrics button to view the same.

There you go – you will see the lyrics for the song on Spotify on your big screen.

How to Report Incorrect Lyrics on Spotify

If you notice incorrect or missing lyrics or if the lyrics don’t sync with the audio, you can easily flag and report the issue.

Open the Spotify app on your smartphone and go to the lyrics tab. You will find a flag icon; tap on that to report a problem with the lyrics.

What if I Can’t See the Lyrics on Spotify?

Spotify may not have lyrics attached to all songs; therefore, you may have to rely on another service for them. You can use services like Genius or Lyrics.

If you can’t find lyrics for a song in a regional language on any of the above websites, don’t worry. You can simply search for it on Google, and you will certainly find a website that has the lyrics.
