It’s Kept in the Saved Folder
When you save a post on Instagram, it’s added to the Saved section of Instagram and kept in the All Posts folder. You can organize your saved posts using collections, which are essentially folders. For instance, you can have a collection of books, places to visit, and so on. This helps you find the saved posts quickly when you need them.
Saved posts can be accessed by tapping on the three-line icon at the top-right corner of your profile page and then selecting Saved. Here, you can view and edit your saved posts.
Saved Posts Are Private
If you have been wondering, “Can people see what you save on Instagram?”, the answer is no. Only you can see your saved posts. Meanwhile, check out these privacy settings for Instagram to keep your account safe.
Instagram Won’t Notify the Other Person
Don’t worry, Instagram doesn’t notify the other person when you save or unsave a post.
What Happens When You Save a Post in Messages
- A new collection is created that can be seen by you and the friend in whose chat you created the collection.
- The new collection folder will also show up in your Saved section.
- Both of you can add or remove posts from the shared collection.
- Your friend can only see the common folder and not other saved posts.
