5 Ways to Fix Intel Graphics Control Panel Not Showing After Windows 11 Update

Fix 1: Install the Correct Drivers Using Intel DSA

Incorrect Intel driver installation during a Windows 11 update can create issues in opening the Intel Graphics Command Center. Uninstall the driver manually and use Intel Driver & Support Assistant (DSA) to restore normal functioning.

Step 1: Press the Windows key > search Installed apps > click to open the system setting.

Step 2: Type Intel in the search bar > click on the three-dot menu next to the installed driver > select Uninstall.

Step 3: Next, download the Intel Driver & Support Assistant (Intel DSA) from the product website and Install it on your PC.

Fix 2: Ensure Integrated GPU Is Enabled in the BIOS Settings

If your laptop has a dedicated graphics card instead of Integrated graphics, the Intel Graphics Command Center might struggle to launch on Windows 11. Enable Integrated GPU from the BIOS settings and relaunch the app.

Step 1: Restart your Windows 11 PC and press its dedicated key (e.g., F2) to open the BIOS menu.

Step 2: Select Configuration and set Graphics Device to UMA Graphics (Integrated Graphics).

Note: Integrated GPU settings in BIOS may differ on your PC. It is generally located under Chipset or the Configuration tab.

Fix 3: Disable Virtualization in BIOS Settings

If the Intel Graphics Command Center app is stuck on the loading screen, existing virtualization settings are the underlying culprit. Disable it from the system BIOS settings and reopen the app.

Step 1: Boot your Windows 11 PC to open the BIOS mode using its dedicated key.

Step 2: Open Configuration from the left sidebar > select Intel (R) Virtualization Technology > set it to Disabled.

If disabling virtualization settings on Windows 11 didn’t work, repair or reset the Intel Graphics Command Center app manually from Windows settings.

Step 1: Press the Windows key > search Installed apps > click to open its system setting.

Step 3: Scroll down and click on Repair. If it doesn’t solve the issue, select Reset to restore it to factory defaults.

Fix 5: Reset Windows 11

If nothing works, reset Windows 11 to fix the Intel Graphics Control Panel not showing after Windows 11 update.

Step 1: Press the Windows key > search Reset this PC > click to open its system setting.

Step 2: Select Reset PC under Recovery options.
