Method 5: Use Third-Party Apps

If you’re uncomfortable with or unable to find the above shortcuts, use a third-party app from Google Play Store to capture screenshots without physical buttons.

1. Screenshot Touch

Screenshot Touch adds a floating button to capture a screenshot. This button is available on any app you use.

Step 1: Download and open the Screenshot Touch app and enable the Accessibility service.

Note: You will be redirected to the Settings app. Select downloaded apps and enable the Screenshot Touch app.

Step 2: Then, open the Start capture monitoring service in the app, and the floating button will be enabled. Tap on it to capture a screenshot.

2. Screenshot Assistant

Screenshot Assistant is an app that lets you capture screenshots as you tap and hold the home button.

Step 1: Download the Screenshot Assistant app, open it, and tap on Assist App Preferences.

Step 2: Then, replace the Digital Assistant app with the Screenshot Assistant app; meaning you can’t access Google Assistant from the home button shortcut.

Step 3: Once you do the above, tap and hold the home button to capture the screenshot.
