FAQs

1. What is the difference between shuffle and repeat?

Shuffle and repeat are two distinct features in music apps that enhance the listening experience. In shuffle mode, the app randomly selects songs from your playlist or library, delivering a surprise factor each time a new track starts.

On the other hand, the repeat feature is designed for users who wish to play the same song or playlist repeatedly. With different repeat options, users can repeat a single song or playlist/album endlessly, creating a loop until they manually turn off the repeat mode.

2. Does playing a song on repeat count on Spotify?

Yes, playing a song on repeat on Spotify counts toward the song’s total play count. When you listen to a song on repeat, each play is counted as a separate play in the song’s play history. This applies to both free and premium Spotify users.

3. How long does repeat last on Spotify?

When you enable repeat mode on a song, it will play the same song on repeat until you manually turn off the repeat feature or start playing a different song.
