Google May Bring iOS 18-Like Genmoji to Pixels, but You Don’t Need to Wait

Apple is going to bring generative AI experiences to the iPhone later this year, and ever since Apple WWDC ended, reports have started surfacing that Google could be working on bringing similar Genmoji-like AI features to its Pixel devices.

This could be an ideal move for Google considering how easy something like this makes creating fun images of friends and family, adding an extra oomph to conversations.

But what if I told you that you can already get similar functionality right now on your Android phone? Yes, you read that right. Using Microsoft’s free Copilot app, you can generate Genmoji-like images quickly and even make stickers out of the AI-made images.

How to Use the Microsoft Copilot App to Generate Genmoji-Like Stickers

Step 1: Open the Copilot app, and type a detailed prompt.

Note: You can’t generate images without signing in with your Microsoft account.

Prompt example: “Make a cute caricature of an old woman, living with her cats in a mountain lodge. She is in her 70s, wears glasses, and is of Indian origin. She has long, white hair.”

Step 2: Submit the prompt and wait for the images to be generated.

Step 3: Once you get the images you are happy with, tap on a variation, and hit the Download button.

That’s it! A cute caricature should now be saved on your phone, and you are free to do as you please with it—share it with friends and family.

How to Use These AI-Made Images as Stickers

While you can share these images as is, the real fun lies in sharing them as stickers on social media. Here’s how you can convert them into a sticker on Instagram:

Step 1: Open the DM chat of the person you want to send the sticker to.

Step 2: Tap the + icon in the bottom left of the chat, and then select Sticker, tap on Cutouts, and select the image you generated using Copilot.

Note: You can select any image you want to create a sticker; it’s not limited to just AI-generated images.

Step 4: Let it process and then tap on Save Sticker.

Step 5:  Now, you will have this saved as a sticker, and you can send it to anyone you like.
