How to View Your Instagram Profile as Someone Else

Step 1: Open Instagram in incognito mode or sign out of your account on the browser. Then, type Instagram.com/username, where username is your Instagram username.

Step 2: To find your username, open your Instagram profile in the app and look for the text at the top-left corner. That is your username.

Note: The text below your profile picture is your name and not the username. Copy or remember this username and write it after Instagram.com/ in a browser. Check the second screenshot. That’s how my profile looks in a browser and without signing in.

Important Points:

• If your Instagram profile is private, you won’t see any posts while viewing it. Only your name, bio, and followers/following count will appear.
• If your Instagram profile is public, you will see all the posts, including highlights, on your feed.

Method 2: By Creating a Second Account

While the above method is easy and works well, another way is to create a second Instagram account using a different email address. But remember not to follow your original account. Then, add the second account to the Instagram app. Now, whenever you want to view your profile as someone else, simply switch to this account.
