How to Turn off LinkedIn Job Alerts on Mobile and PC

Quick Tips
  • If you prefer to receive job alerts via the LinkedIn app or website but not via email, you can unsubscribe from job alert emails by going to LinkedIn settings.
  • You should delete any of the job alerts which you have created
  • You can set it to daily or weekly alerts for LinkedIn Job alerts.

Method 1. Turn off Job Alerts on LinkedIn Mobile App

When it comes to turning off LinkedIn job alerts, you have two options: Job Alert Profile & Top job picks for you.

The first is where you manage the job alerts you’ve set up based on specific criteria like job title, location, company, or industry. Disabling it will stop you from receiving notifications for that specific job alert.

On the other hand, Top Job Picks are personalized job recommendations generated by LinkedIn’s algorithm based on your profile. So you will need to disable both.

Note: The steps for both Android and iOS devices are similar.

Turn off Job Alerts

Step 1: Open the LinkedIn app on your Android/iOS device.

Step 2: Tap on the Jobs tab from the bottom menu, and then tap on Preferences.

Step 3: Over here, tap on Job Alerts, and toggle off Top job picks for you.

Step 4: If you have custom Job alerts, tap the Edit (pencil) icon next to the job from which you want to turn off alerts. Then, tap on the Delete job alert to delete the alert.
