How to See What Email You Used for Instagram

• To see what email you used for Instagram, open Instagram Settings → Accounts Center → Personal details.
• If you’re using the Instagram Lite app, open Instagram Settings → Account → Personal Information.
• If you can’t log in to Instagram but have your Facebook synced with it, go to Facebook Settings → Accounts Center → Personal details.

Check Your Email Address on Instagram for iOS and Android

Instagram uses a similar user interface on iOS and Android. So, the steps for finding the email linked to your Instagram account are the same, no matter the device or whether your account is private or public.

Step 1: Open Instagram > tap your account picture at the bottom right.

Step 2: Tap the three horizontal lines to access Settings and activity page. Select Accounts Center.

Step 3: Tap Personal details. You’ll find your email address under the Contact info menu. Tap it for detailed info.

Notably, you can add your Instagram email address to another account (your Facebook account) or delete it from the same menu.

Note: If you delete your email address on Instagram, you can no longer use it to log in, reset your password, or receive notifications. Also, you can’t delete the email address from accounts where it is the only contact method.

See Your Email in Instagram Lite for Android

Step 1: Open Instagram Lite on your Android phone. Tap your profile icon at the bottom-right corner.

Step 2: Tap the hamburger menu (three-line icon) > open Settings.

Step 3: Select Account > tap Personal Information.

Here, you can check your current email address linked to Instagram. If you want to change it, tap the X mark and add the new one. Hit Save to make the changes live.

Find Your Email Address on Instagram From the Web

Instagram offers a capable web version, too. Using the desktop version, you can check your latest posts, Reels, stories, and email addresses. Here’s what to do.

Step 1: Visit Instagram on the web > click More at the bottom left > open Settings > Account Center.

Step 2: Click Personal details > check your Contact info.

Here, you can view your email address linked to Instagram. To delete it select and proceed to the next menu.

Check Your Instagram Email Address Using Facebook

If you have connected/synced your Instagram account to Facebook, use the Facebook mobile app to check your Instagram email address or log in to the app.

Step 1: Open the Facebook app > tap your profile icon at the bottom right.

Step 2: Expand Settings & privacy > select Settings > open the Accounts Center.

Step 3: Tap Personal details. Here, view your Contact info for Facebook and Instagram.

Step 4: Tap the email address. It will open your Instagram account in the following menu.

You can delete your email if you don’t wish to receive alerts anymore.
