Basic Fixes
- Disconnect Bluetooth headphones from other devices: It sounds obvious and is one of the biggest reasons behind the issue.
- Bring headphones closer to Fire TV Stick: You may keep your headphones up to 10 meters away from the Fire TV Stick 4K.
- Reset Bluetooth Headphones: Follow the instructions for your headphone model and reset them to the factory default setting.
Fix 1: Check Bluetooth Compatibility
Are your earphones or headphones compatible with the Fire TV Stick 4K? You’ll need to check the Bluetooth specifications of your headphones. The Fire TV Stick 4K supports Bluetooth 5. So if your headphones or earphones are more than 2 or 3 years old, Bluetooth 5.0 support seems unlikely. Check the product page of your headphones or earphones manufacturer for the exact Bluetooth version.
Fix 2: Check the Bluetooth Headphones Battery Level
If your headphones have a low battery, charge them to at least 80% before connecting to the Fire TV Stick 4K. Low battery can prevent smooth Bluetooth connections.
Fix 3: Update Fire TV Stick Firmware
Installing the latest firmware version will surely remove any bugs or glitches causing the issue with your Fire TV Stick model.
Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > check for Updates > download and install if one is available.
Fix 4: Reset Fire TV Stick 4K
You can also reset your Fire TV Stick 4K to its default factory settings. This process will remove all the installed apps, and you must log in again to your Amazon account. However, it will also remove the previous settings and data of your Bluetooth devices connected to your Fire TV Stick 4K.
Open Settings > My Fire TV > Reset to Factory Defaults > Reset.
