Note: Game Launcher is labeled as Gaming Hub on Samsung phones running One UI 6.0 or above. For simplicity, we’ve used the term Gaming Hub throughout this article, but the steps remain the same for both.
What Does Gaming Hub Do on Samsung Phones
Gaming Hub automatically detects games you’ve downloaded from the Play Store or Galaxy Store and displays them all in one place. It also provides recommendations and suggestions for new games based on your preferences. Additionally, Gaming Hub offers features to enhance your gaming experience by optimizing your phone’s performance for gaming, ensuring smooth gameplay, and reducing lag.
How to Display Your Games on Both the Home Screen and Gaming Hub
When Gaming Hub is active on your Samsung phone, your games won’t appear on the home screen by default. However, you can configure your phone to show your games on both the home screen and Gaming Hub. Here’s how:
Step 1: Open the Gaming Hub app on your phone using the search menu.
Step 2: Tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner and select Settings.
Step 3: Go to Show game apps and select In Gaming Hub and the Home and Apps screens.
How to Disable Gaming Hub on Samsung Phone
If you don’t use your phone for gaming or prefer not to use Gaming Hub, you can also disable it entirely. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Open Settings and scroll down to tap on Advanced features.
Step 2: Turn off the toggle next to Gaming Hub.
